To be honest, the main time it takes to get you your story is not the usual “up to 2-3 working days to process your order”, it’s the actual time to receive it, read it, and write. Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email. We use a standard service with Royal Mail to ship your parcel so there will not be a tracking number for your parcel.

UK Shipping

All UK orders are shipped Royal Mail 2nd Class as standard and generally take 2-3 working days to arrive. There is a flat rate of £5.60 (correct at 01 May 2025, subject to inflation) This region includes all UK shipping regions except Northern Ireland, due to new GPSR rules and regulations for EU shipping.

Please note: this shipping option does not include a tracking number.

European Union and Northern Ireland – No shipping

I deeply regret that, due to the GPSR rules and regulations for EU shipping, we are not able to ship to countries in the European Union or Northern Ireland for the foreseeable future. By that law I would need to have a representative who is resident within the EU, and I do not. I hope that this may change.

International Shipping – The Rest of the World and Non-EU Europe

We are delighted to send stories all over the world. We charge a flat fee, for simplicity, based on at-cost using Royal Mail’s International Standard shipping rates. It’s £35.00, and is high because a book is relatively heavy.

Once shipped, Royal Mail advice orders take at least 5 or more working days to arrive, depending on the country. However, this may take 12 days longer if it has to go through customs. Please be advised delays are now more routine and you may need to be patient waiting for your parcel to arrive. Please note: this shipping option does not include a tracking number.  

A cheaper, and faster, alternative is to avoid shipping costs altogether and but a digital pdf file of your story. It will still take several days to write, but will be then sent immediately by by file transfer.

Missing Parcel

With dispatch delays now increasingly common please wait a few weeks before contacting Your Tarot Story if your delivery has not yet arrived. The vast majority do arrive eventually. If you suspect that your parcel has gone missing, please contact me directly with your order details and I’ll replace it free of charge. However, we will ask you to wait a short period of time in case there was a delay within the postal system itself.

Damaged Book

If any of the items in your order have arrived badly damaged, please contact me and I can send it again.
